Does Narau work offline?
Yes. Narau is designed so its core lessons, review and study tools work offline. Apple services such as App Store purchases may still require a connection.
What Japanese levels does Narau cover?
Narau's kanji learning path covers JLPT-style content from N5 through N1, alongside kana and vocabulary study.
Do I need an account?
No. Narau does not require a BrownFrame or Narau account to start learning.
Does Narau include a dictionary and stroke practice?
Yes. Dictionary lookup, kanji details and optional kanji stroke practice are built into the app.
How does review work?
Due material returns through spaced review. Narau also includes custom review when you want additional practice outside the normal due schedule.
Which interface languages are supported?
Narau supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Thai and Russian.
Is Narau a subscription?
No. Narau uses one-time non-consumable purchases: ¥1,000 for an individual JLPT level or ¥3,900 for Full Unlock in Japan.
